I had a Contessa 26 many years ago. Slow, uncomfortable and wet to sail. Strangely. I have fonder memories of her than any other yacht that I have owned. Now well into my retirement and no longer sailing longer passages I am considering one for day sailing with the odd overnight.

What breed and size of boat ??

When I was a kid I was on a fishing trip with my dad. I ruined an entire day because I was having fun feeding a Porpoise dead fish from a chum bucket. That Porpoise followed us around all day. Has anyone attempted to change the behavior of these orcas? If they were fed as I did would the stop destroying ?

Great video and it was interesting to see a few differences against my boat. First thing I noticed was I assume the anchor locker bottom had been lowered, right?

The Orca story demonstrates why anything offshore mandates a yacht with an encapsulated keel and skeg hung rudder.

The right boat for the job. I have an old ,very, First 501 which has the engine in the middle of the saloon. She is ex charter and I alway thought that it was to enhance the room for two ensuite aft cabins. Either way it works very well. Another great video, you lucky so and soes.😀

Great film and stunning boat to do the hop. Assume Halcyon is a day rate for the team or do you do lump sum for a passage? Do you do an assessment of the boat before you take it on a leg with or without owner? Is there a minimum accomodation standard for your crews? E.g. Would you take a swan 36 or tessie 32 across with the owner or too small?

Hello, thank you for sharing this journey with us. If the owner allows and it is convenient for you, I would like to see the storage areas. I couldn't find any information about storage areas even on the rustler official website.

In addition to being master sailors, you also presented us with the images of this journey and the boat with a very high-quality presentation. I thank the boat owner for allowing this and I pay my respects to the two master sailors. I have criticisms of Rustler shipyard from my own perspective, but it is also true that I love the quality products they make. I hope Rustler shipyard presents/promotes its products to potential customers through professionals like you, rather than so-called yacht magazine experts.
